Water Pollution

Reduce Water Pollution

Water is a precious resource and the amount available for human needs and for the environment is limited, in dry or wet years. It’s our duty or responsibility to save our environment. The best way to save human needs and environment is Recycling. You know recycling can reduce water pollution isn’t interesting. I know you guys are more curious to know about that. No, problem let’s begin.

1) A lot of harmful chemicals and waste end up in the ocean because we have so much garbage. Recycling would reduce our garbage.

2) Some of the harmful chemicals in our garbage from landfills could seep into the ground, and eventually reach the oceans and other bodies of water as well as our groundwater. This pollutes the water.

3) If we recycled, we would need to produce fewer things since we would be reusing more.

Benefits Of Recycling:Plastic

Benefits of Plastic Recycling

1. Recycled bottles provide an environmentally friendly source for making new products and substitutes recycled materials for new plastic.
2. Recycled plastic bottles make hundreds of everyday products, including fleece jackets, carpeting, and lumber for outdoor decking.
3. For every 1 ton of plastic that is recycled we save the equivalent of 2 people’s energy use for 1 year. Isn’t amazing

Recycling:Save Energy

Save Energy

Energy savings are a very important environmental benefit of recycling, because using energy requires the consumption of scarce fossil fuels and involve emissions of numerous air and water pollutants. Recycling aluminum has always been a sustainable practice because it saves landfill space. Recycling aluminum scrap saves enormous quantities of energy, otherwise required to make virgin aluminum.

Recycling just one can saves enough electricity to light a 100-watt bulb for 3½ hours.

Reuse the packaging material

Packaging Material

Reuse the packaging material when sending out a package to someone else. It saves your money and helps the environment as well. The most direct way to recover packaging is by reusing it in its original form.

Many packaging materials can be collected for recycling; Examples include paper, glass and plastic bottles. It is best to purchase items for which you know that an infrastructure exists for recycling.

Recycling: Glass and Plastics

Recycling Glass and Plastics

The most common materials used in recycling are glass and plastics. In most cases, manufacturing from recycled materials requires less energy and results in a reduced environmental impact provided the recycled materials are collected and processed efficiently.

With a little bit of care much plastic can be recycled, and collection of plastics for recycling is increasing rapidly. In simple way to reduce the use of plastic is use “green” bags instead of plastic bags when you are grocery shopping. Every bit of plastic that has ever been manufactured is still in existence. A reusable grocery bag helps keep those plastic bags out of the landfills.

Glass is easy to recognize and recycle. But some glass bottles must not be mixed or recycled with other types of glass such as windows, light bulbs, mirrors, glass tableware, Pyrex or auto glass. To save environment use less bottles which is not recycled or mixed with other bottles.
